I just love wenge as a complimentary wood for trimming etc. The board I received was excellent; no cracks or warping. Highly recommend this vendor.

I use this wood as an accent color in my project and in this case specifically cutting boards. The wood was cut to my requirements, delivered timely and with the sale, at a great price.

I ordered 7 bf of Wenge it came in two boards of the correct width but one of the boards was so warped I had to go purchase a replacement from a local source. All other purchases I have made have been very good

This is just what I wanted. Very pretty piece of wood. I was able to get 4 fretboards out of one 36" piece of 4/4 Wenge.

Board came in great condition, it is hard for me to find certain kinds of finish woods in my area and Woodworkers Source is my go to place. First started using this web site when I lived in Las Vegas and always had great service.

I ordered 25 BF of Wenge 4/4. All boards arrive in excellent condition except one, it has 2 minor splits. No problem for me because the rest is nearly perfect, better overall than anything I have purchased before from local suppliers. You guy's are honest and fair and I am and would strongly recommend you to anyone wanting high quality wood. Thank you!!

As always the wood was received promptly and in good condition. I have been doing bussiness with Woodworkers Source for a few years now and am very pleased.

The piece of wenge I received was extraordinary. I asked for a 36" long piece as straight grained as possible. What I received was as straight as an arrow, and not an old-school hickory one, but a new hi-tech composite arrow. It was that straight. It is strong and sturdy and has no knots.

Wenge is such a beautiful wood very easy to finish. It arrived in perfect condition.

Excellent service, excellent product (Wenge) but S&H pretty steep-enough so to send me back to my hardwood dealer.

I do really love working with Wenge but there are two things to definitely keep in mind: The sawdust is very toxic. Where a mask or respirator and take a shower immediately after work. In Africa they actually make a tea out of this and use it as a poison. Also, it is VERY hard on your tool blades. It will dull them quickly and as I found out the hard way you get a really nice notch in your joiner blade after just a couple of passes. It is worth it though. Wenge projects tun out beautiful with a mirror finish and although they are heavy, they are very durable.

Wood was received in excellent shape. Boards were straight, flat and had no splits on the ends.

Can't give this wood a full 5 stars because it is a little difficult to work with due to the splintering (cross cuts and router operations). Just have to be mindful, use backer boards and such. Most boards I've ever got were just about flawless, too. Doesn't seem to cup or warp much at all.
