Easy Size!
Hobby boards make it easy to get started on your project. They're perfectly sized to nominal 1/4x2 and 1/4x4 boards with clean, straight edges and smooth faces. They're lovingly milled from kiln dried, Select & Better lumber so you get gorgeous, clear, ready-to-use wood.

Heartwood/Sapwood Content?
We stock walnut lumber with one of the highest possible heartwood specifications that money can buy, called 90/70. That means 90% heartwood on the face, and 70% on the back. While the heartwood content may be greater on some boards, we can not guarantee 100% heartwood.

Beautiful wood! Only 1-2 bowed, almost all look really great.
Beautiful wood! Only 1-2 bowed, almost all look really great. I'm using them to build floating frames around art I've made and it looks great - they're cut very precisely, almost all are very flat (had 1-2 bowed ones so far), and most have a very nice look. Pretty smooth too, no need to sand at lower grits. Overall super impressed and I'm getting more! :D
Familiarity: I've used it once or twice

Great Quality!
I ordered two 3.5"x36" 1/4" boards and am very satisfied. Basically all heartwood! One board was dead straight, and the second had a little bowing, but not bad, especially for how thin it is! The figure looks great and there are no visible milling marks! Very happy with this being my first experience working with walnut!

Walnut craft bords.
Received quickly. Stock was as advertised. Only one board was questionable. Both surfaces were defective. A little creative cutting and I was able to use it for what I needed.
