Very good selection, perfectly straight and square. Freight was not cheap but not unexpected. This was sort of a test order for me and I was very satisfied with the quality, price, and shipping time.

Sometimes, less is more so please consider this shorter review as indicative of that. The Walnut was very high quality overall. Very little sap wood, no cracks, etc. I had 1 piece in the original order that did have more curvature than I could use. I sent a photo to them and a few days later the replacement arrived, free of any additional charges. Product and service in particular were great. I would highly recommend. The risk is low, the product is good and the service is great. The latter part is what separates the best buying experiences from the worst!

One of the squares had a long end grain check. The remaining four squares were good.

The quality of the wood was outstanding. It was easy to order and it was delivered in a timely fashion.

I purchased 2 sets of 15 pieces of this walnut for two multi-level amp/home audio stands. The primary amplifier is almost 130lbs, so a lot of support is required. The first order received was consistent with WWS quality. In the second batch, however, there are a couple of squares that have sizable saw marks and a couple that are noticeably warped. I will have to use those pieces to set my dado stack and play with different router bits, but was hoping to have enough left over for a new nightstand for my better half.

The walnut was nice and clear. Just what I wanted.

I was very pleased with this product. Didn't hurt that I got them at a special reduced cost at the time. The squares were perfect for the legs of a coffee table that I made. Delivery was made in a timely fashion.

Received wood faster than expected. I always order 10% more wood to allow for my modification on my project. One piece of wood had a blemished edge for about 4 feet, but by ordering extra wood, I was able work around this “opportunity". The grain in the wood was exceptional so I didn't want to return my order. I normally go to the store near Bell road and enjoy all of the staff there.

These squares look excellent. I will start the turning project shortly and expect to enjoy turning these blanks for the legs of a chest on stand project I designed.

Good Decent grain and they arrived safe and sound. The wood had nice color as one might expect. Bad Some of the boards were short by a 1/4" or more Some of the boards were not strait, causing a lot of waste to get them square

Good peaces of Blk Walnut. The description (2" x 2" x 30"). The peaces were under 2 by 2. A little disappointed.

It is exactly what I was looking for. I am using this to refurbish an old shotgun, manufactured in 1902. The gun belonged to my dad when he was in his teens.
