Reviews for Spanish Cedar 8/4 Lumber

Aside from being shorted on board footage in terms of actual size, I was shorted even further as the bands used to secure the lumber together were overtightened by someone with hulk strength. This left me having to trim even more off the boards. On this order, I used a $10 coupon, so maybe that led the company to short me a bit. I should say that in a prior order for the exact same Spanish Cedar (including same board footage,) that was definitely worth 5 stars. But this order left me pretty disappointed. Getting ready to place another order for the exact same thing, so we will see what happens.

My son, whom just graduated, asked me to make humidor for him. I jumped at the chance! Having bought 100 board feet of walnut from woodworkers source some time ago, I knew right where to start my search for Spanish Cedar. They had what I wanted and shipped it pretty quickly (quick being relative in the age of Covid)! The wood was first rate quality and shipped at a reasonable cost. I always enjoy working with woodworkers source and have never had an issue with the wood they select! Thank you!

Ordered both 8/4 and 4/4 for outdoor furniture project. Arrived uniformly 8-foot pieces and a reasonable selection of widths, although not as wide as requested re 8/4. First time to user Spanish cedar -- fun wood to work with, grain provides nice character without making much of the wood unusable. Will definitely use Spanish cedar and WoodSource again.

Beautiful piece of lumber arrived on time and just as ordered. Used it to fashion an exterior sill for a double-hung window.
