2. Projects Due
Saturday February 22, 20253. Show Day
Saturday March 1, 2025Enter a Project, You Get $50 Store Credit
We’re stoked to recognize our marvelous local woodworking community and the people who enjoy woodworking. This event is all about showcasing the beauty of custom, handcrafted decorative home furnishings made by local Arizona woodworkers of all skill levels.
That’s why we give you $50 store credit when you enter a project.
We keep the event free, and we pay you. It’s crazy, but it’s what we do.
Yes Prizes, Too
Yes, there’s an element of friendly competition. Visitors to the show will have a chance to vote for their favorite projects, and we’ll award some prizes to the most delightful projects by way of a public vote.
Get ready! Create a project that, in some way, pays tribute to the rich and diverse aspects of the American experience.
Whether it’s through reflecting on the cultural heritage, historical milestones, artistic expressions, breathtaking landscapes, or the enduring legacy that has shaped this nation, we want to see wood projects that celebrate the spirit and essence of America.
Think about the stories, values, and traditions that have defined the country’s journey, and pick something to express through your craft.
The theme is deliberately abstract, designed to spark your imagination and inspire a diverse range of projects!
For you, what could it be?

No.
Tip: if you enter an old project, do what it takes to refresh it so that it makes the best impression.
Can I Enter More Than One Project?
No.
Do I Keep My Project After The Contest?
Yes! It’s your project. Please pick it up the night of the show, or the week after at the store you entered.
I’m Not Very Good at Woodworking
Welcome to the quest! None of us think we’re any good anyway so you’re in good company. It’s a friendly competition, not a stiff one. Build something and enter it because all of the fun is in participating, not “showing off.” Consider this an opportunity to learn a little more about the craft, or to try something new.
What If I’m Not in Arizona? Can I Still Enter?
Can you deliver and pick up your project, or make arrangements to have someone do it on your behalf? If so, then sure.
