Woodworkers from all over the Phoenix metro area put their skills and creativity to good use by building “Little Free Libraries” in our latest woodworking contest. And you should really come see the projects!
These small outdoor bookcases encourage literacy, neighborhood sharing, and when installed they add a sense of friendliness to the community. In this display of projects, each one is custom designed and built — which means we have no idea what they will look like, but we certainly do expect to be dazzled and amazed by the variety of projects. Come on down to see for yourself!

This contest is a partnership with Southwest Human Development, an local nonprofit dedicated to early childhood development, especially literacy. The organization wants to add 100 Little Free Libraries to the Phoenix area, so we organized this contest to help them out. We expect 30 to 40 projects to get entered in this contest.
