Finishing is one of the most mysterious aspects of woodworking. Many novices will spend a lot of time making their project only to rush through the finishing process and end up with a result that is less than adequate. It is said “that you can always tell a piece that is done by an amateur by the quality of the finish”.
In this course, Master Finisher, Rhonda Forsha, will lead you though the fundamentals of finishing and get you on your way to developing this important skill.
This class takes place in 3-hour sessions over the course of four evening sessions, 6:00 – 9:00 pm
(register at Southwest School of Woodworking)
It’s your hometown woodworking school located near downtown Phoenix and staffed by expert furniture makers who just want to do their part to pass on their knowledge of the craft.
For 2017 we’re partnering with the school to promote classes that we think you’ll like.
Expect to see more classes throughout the year.
