Why Choose Leopardwood?

Flaky, speckled figure with dark flecks, varying from a small lacelike pattern to a larger splashy figure. Texture is fairly coarse. Moderately hard. Works easy, except for a tendency to splinter, and takes a very lustrous finish. Quite scarce timber.

Everyone wants to know what it is!
When finished, the surface looks three dimensional, even though it's flat. Truly unique stuff. Everyone wants to touch it and "feel" the grain... but after sanding, it's smooth! Tongue oil finish looks great. A bit "splintery" after cutting. Be careful.
